Think-Big-Big-Top

There’s nothing wrong with thinking big and wanting to make it to the “Big Top” but you gotta be realistic.

This isn’t to discourage you, but what’s more important, being famous or enjoying your craft as a consistent working actor?  You see, stars come and go, but you, your desire should be to be in this business for the long haul.

Don’t get caught up in the money and the fame.  Sure, you’ll need money from your acting gigs to survive but just ’cause you get a part in a movie or TV series doesn’t mean you’ve arrived.  From day one, put some of that money away because eventually your show will get cancelled and you’ll find yourself needing that money to survive and stay in the game.

“Stayin’ in the game” is the key to your success.  It’s your craft so think, long term.  Be realistic when it comes to your monetary decisions.  Build your career, build your nest egg.
