Breathless (À bout de souffle), Jean-Luc Godard’s feature debut and a seminal film of the French New Wave, will return to theaters this month, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of its release, in the form of a brand-new 35mm print, with new sub-titles struck from a restored negative supervised by Godard’s director of photography, Raoul Coutard.
The re-release launches on May 28 in New York and will roll-out to other parts of the country Below is the new trailer.
