You’re really serious about coming to L.A. and being an actor, right? Well that means you’re eventually gonna have to join the unions. There are two main unions for professional actors. The first and more important one is The Screen Actors Guild better known as SAG. The other is The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
There are a few books out there that show you how to get into these unions but you gotta get in both in order to fully benefit as a professional actor.
